To instruct delegates on correctly determining their roles and responsibilities when undertaking the duties of a Level Crossing Attendant.

Course Pre-Requisities of the Level Crossing Attendant (LXA) Course
Must hold a current Sentinel Track Safety Card endorsed with either IWA or COSS Competence. You CANNOT have Red Triangle Restrictions or Colour Vision Deficiencies – Blue Circle
Objective of the Level Crossing Attendant (LXA) Course
At the end of this course, delegates will be able to:
Demonstrate their understanding and ability to operate Level Crossing Barriers correctly, in line with the relevant Rule Book/Handbook Modules.

Delivery of the Level Crossing Attendant (LXA) Course
The course will be presented by trainers in the classroom, using the accompanying Visual Aids and video, supplemented by Practical Operation of Barriers. Candidates will be required to bring Full PPE to the course.
Competency for the Level Crossing Attendant (LXA) Course
The instruction will be followed by theory and practical assessments successful delegate’s will have their sentinel card updated with AOD (LXA).
